Wolves star Raul Jimenez responds to Manchester United transfer speculation

Wolves striker Raul Jimenez has responded to rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United and Manchester City, among other top clubs.

The Mexican has reportedly caught the eye of some of Europe’s best sides after scoring 22 goals in all competitions this season, as well as providing 10 assists.

That form has not only seen Jimenez linked with both Manchester clubs, but also Liverpool and the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus.

And the striker has admitted it has been “incredible” to see his name mentioned alongside those teams, and has hinted he’d like to make the rumours a reality.

“It’s something very cool," Jimenez told Bolavip.

"I don’t know if they are true, they are rumours. Since they are talking about me, different teams like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool… They are teams that in the history of football are important.”

Jimenez added: "It’s an incredible thing to be on the radar, and on the lips of those teams.

"It’s something good to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, give even more to achieve it.”

Jimenez will get the chance to catch the eye of those clubs again when Wolves return to Premier League action against West Ham on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are in the hunt for a Champions League place for next season, currently sitting seventh and five points behind fourth-placed Chelsea, while United are just two points ahead in fifth.
