Wolves set to listen to offers for former Sunderland loanee Dion Sanderson

Former Sunderland loanee Dion Sanderson looks set to leave Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer. The centre-half enjoyed a stellar loan spell with the Black Cats during the 2020-21 season and has gone on to amass over 100 senior appearances.

According to Birmingham Live, Wolves won’t demand an excessive fee for Sanderson, who has two years remaining on his contract at Molineux. Sunderland have reportedly kept close tabs on the defender and were keen on bringing him back to the Stadium of Light at the start of this season.

The report claims, according to sources at Wolves, other Championship clubs have shown interest in Sanderson - including Alex Neil's Stoke City - during the current campaign. Scottish giants Rangers were also reportedly interested in a January swoop for the defender, with former QPR boss Michael Beale a fan.
