Wolves’ Rui Patricio offers coat to a young fan after noticing he was cold

Wolverhampton goalkeeper Rui Patricio had the best moment from Wednesday’s Premier League match at Watford, and it happened before he even stepped onto the pitch at Vicarage Road.

Ahead of what was a chilly evening match in Watford, England, the Wolves keeper noticed that one of the young fans who was walking out with the team was visibly cold. Patricio got the youngster’s attention and offered him his jacket.

Just look as the young fan lit up when Patricio removed his (very large) jacket and put it on him. The classy gesture eventually made its way around social media, and for good reason.

So often we see players treat those pregame walks onto the pitch with kids as a trivial part of the match-day routine. Patricio recognized how memorable that moment was for a young fan and did his part to make the experience even more special.

You really do love to see it.
