Wolves loanee Morgan Gibbs-White names one thing he wants to add to his game and just why he is loving life at Swansea City

Morgan Gibbs-White has been a Swansea City player for only a matter of weeks, but, early on, his signing appears to be another shrewd one in a long list of successful loan recruits at SA1.

His arrival came with much fanfare and rightly so. He is thought to be one of the hottest up-and-coming talents in the Premier League, having established himself in the first team with Wolves in recent seasons, and his signing was quite the coup for Steve Cooper, who had a job on his hands to replace the excellent Conor Gallagher.

It seems Swans fans were right to be excited, with the attacking midfielder having already endeared himself to supporters with a debut goal, the winner away at Preston on the opening day of the Championship season, and a succession of promising displays.

The England youth international has slotted in seamlessly, it seems, and is beating along nicely to the rhythm of Swansea's attack in the early stages of the season.

Last weekend, against Wycombe, he had a number of chances to add to his goalscoring tally, but it wasn't to be.

The Swans ran out comfortable 2-0 winners in the end, but, from a personal standpoint, Gibbs-White was left a tad frustrated that he didn't get on the scoresheet.

"I was a bit disappointed not to get on the scoresheet myself, but the important thing will always be that we get the three points and that’s exactly what we did," he told the club's website.

"I definitely want to add goals to my game, scoring on my debut was a good way to start and I would like to carry that on."

The 20-year-old is certainly ambitious and that should be cause for excitement for supporters in SA1.

Gibbs-White is brimming with ambition and, while Cooper is still incredibly keen on adding to the squad before the October 16 domestic deadline, he will no doubt have a big say in Swansea's fortunes this term.

And having that consistency of knowing he is going to be playing week in, week out has provided the talented youngster with a huge confidence boost and is no doubt a big reason why he appears to be loving life at Swansea City so far.

"I’m just happy we got another win and clean sheet, we can now look to keep that run going next week," he added.

"It’s been a massive boost for me playing every week. I can feel my confidence and fitness levels rising and I feel I am really improving."

That will certainly be music to Swansea City fans' ears.
