Wolves fans troll Liverpool FC as Man City clinch the Premier League title

Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers were heard trolling Liverpool fans at Anfield as Man City strolled to their fourth Premier League title against Brighton.

The title race between City and Liverpool went right down to the final day of the season and Liverpool needed a massive favour from Brighton in order to have any chance of winning their first ever Premier League trophy.

They thought they were going to get it in the first-half when Glenn Murray gave the Seagulls an early lead and Anfield exploded in celebration.

Yet those celebrations were cut short when Sergio Aguero equalised just 83 seconds later and then goals from Aymeric Laporte, Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan removed all doubt and secured the league for City.

Liverpool did all they could as they beat Wolves 2-0 thanks to a Sadio Mane double and they finished the season with the third highest points total in the history of the Premier League.

Yet they could only finish second and Wolves fans took great joy in reminding them of that.

They could be heard chanting "Raheem Sterling, he's top of the league" and it wasn't taken well by the Anfield faithful, as they were reminded about the success of their former player.
