Matt Doherty is being linked with a £12m move to Tottenham.
The Republic of Ireland defender still has three years to run on his Wolves deal but the Molineaux club are close to landing Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles for £20 million.
Doherty, 28, and Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold have been the most consistent right-back and right-wing backs in the Premier League for the last two seasons.
But Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is a known admirer of Doherty who ticks a lot of boxes because of his versatility - and Wolves may consider a deal if the price is right.
Bohemians will be following any transfer activity with keen interest as they are entitled to 10 percent of any transfer fee.
Wolves - then managed by Mick McCarthy - paid the Gypsies €40,000 up front for Doherty 10 years ago although that figure was upped to €80,000 with add-ons.
