Wolves 2-5 Chelsea: Tammy Abraham hits hat-trick in thrilling Molineux win for Frank Lampard

Tammy Abraham took his tally to seven Premier League goals this season with a hat-trick as Chelsea stunned Wolves with a 5-2 victory at Molineux.

Chelsea headed into what looked like a tough clash against Nuno Espirito Santo's side without the injured N'Golo Kante in midfield, but the Blues made light work of the hosts in a thrilling first half.

Starting in a three-man defence, Fikayo Tomori scored a brilliant opener for Chelsea, curling a first-time effort into the top corner from 30 yards out after 31 minutes.

That goal shook Wolves, and Frank Lampard's Blues were soon two goals to the good as Abraham fired home after good work from Tomori and Mason Mount three minutes later.

Wolves' first-half implosion was complete four minutes before the interval as Abraham powerfully headed home to cap a dream opening 45 minutes for Lampard.

But Chelsea and Abraham were not done there as the 21-year-old scored another excellent goal to complete his hat-trick 10 minutes after the restart.

Abraham suffered two setbacks late on as he scored Wolves' consolation goal before departing with an apparent injury problem.

Patrick Cutrone added another for Wolves with five minutes remaining, but the day - and the match ball - undoubtedly belong to Chelsea's rising star Abraham, with Mason Mount adding a late fifth for Chelsea.
