Wolfe Tones singer Brian Warfield caught out by cruel pranksters on TikTok with mean trick

Whether you're on it or not there is no denying that TikTok has fast become one of the biggest social media platforms in recent years.

The video sharing app has exploded in popularity particularly in the last year with more and more flocking to the app to enjoy the endless content posted on it.

While TikTok continues to draw in users due to the sheer range of videos posted each day on the app, another draw is the fact that a lot of famous people are on the app from politicians to actors to musicians.

And that even includes Irish celebs.

One such celeb that has taken to the app very quickly is Brian Warfield of The Wolfe Tones.

The lead singer of the iconic folk group known for their rebel songs posts very regularly on the app delighting fans by sharing stories and giving an insight into the group's past.

Brian also often posts videos at the request of many of his followers where he sends his regards to people name dropping them in the process.

While the reaction has been mostly positive, a number of cruel tricksters have jumped on the opportunity to play a prank on the iconic musician.

Some started by asking Brian to say hello some famous stars from the adult entertainment industry such as Johnny Sins and Mia Khalifa.

Meanwhile others asked Brian to say hello to a few made up names that were a bit rude.

He has since taken most of the videos down after realising he was being tricked and fans have jumped to his defence.

Others however have enjoyed the jokes being played on Brian.

Despite the pranks the account has been hugely popular already racking up an impressive 56,700 followers.

Brian earlier revealed that it was his 10-year-old grandson Odhran who suggested he join the video sharing app.
