Wolf street food restaurant applies to open in Glasgow

A popular Italian street food restaurant could be coming to Glasgow.

Wolf has applied for permission to open in a vacant unit on Bothwell Street.

The company already operates in six locations across England and has picked Glasgow as its first Scottish destination.

If given the go-ahead, the restaurant will sit between Cycle Republic and Launch Foods - which is expected to open soon.

The building was previously home to Wetherspoons, before it closed in early 2018.

If approved the restaurant would move into the vacant spot on Bothwell Street. (Google Maps)

Wolf describes its menu as Italian street food, with dishes including pizza, pasta and piada.

The application is currently being reviewed by Glasgow City Council.
