Woj: Los Angeles Lakers agree to bring in guard Avery Bradley

The Los Angeles Lakers continue to add to their roster with veterans who have playoff experience. And with their latest move, they are hoping that Avery Bradley finds the form he had only a few seasons ago.

ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski broke the news that the Lakers will sign the veteran guard to a two-year deal, using their room exception, to bring him into the fold.

After a career year in Boston during the 2016-17 season, Bradley has had a stretch of down seasons as he has bounced around three different teams over the last two seasons. While his defense has slipped a bit, he remains a career 36 percent 3-point shooter and has the defensive acumen to believe he might be able to step up if the Lakers get to the postseason.

It’s a gamble for the Lakers, but with Bradley still only 28, it’s not out of the question that he could have a renaissance next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
