Don’t let the brand name fool you. This is a dangerous team with the upside and potential to do big things in the first weekend of the tournament. The Terriers went unbeaten in the SoCon, is on a 20-game winning streak, and only lost to North Carolina, Kansas, Mississippi State and Oklahoma.
This is decent-sized offense that scores in bunches, is second in the nation in three-point percentage, and that comes by being third in the country in assists. There’s been little drama over the last few months, and now the team is ready. Don’t show up unless you’re prepared to play a game in the 80s.
All You Really Need To Know About Seton Hall (20-13)
(Big East), NCAA NET Rank: 57. Midwest, 10-seed
The Pirates went on a decent late run with four straight wins including two over Marquette and one over Villanova before going down in the Big East final to the Wildcats. This is a very tall team to work around scoring machine G Myles Powell, but there are issues.
For all the size, the Pirates are just okay on the boards. There’s nothing happening from three, there aren’t enough extra passes, and games have to be kept low scoring and not get out of hand. When the O doesn’t work and Powell is off, there’s a big issue.

What’s Going To Happen
Seton Hall doesn’t have the offense. The Terriers will hit from three, and the Pirates won’t do it enough. However, the SHU defense will do a decent job of keeping the game from getting out of hand. Wofford is the real deal, it won’t make enough mistakes, and it’ll keep firing away enough to stay ahead in the second half.
