Wizz Air has launched a huge sale with fares going from £8.99 each way.
The best part? The deals are valid for an 'unlimited travel period' so you have plenty of flexibility (usually sales of this nature are tied to specific windows of dates).
The deals are valid on 10,000 seats on routes from the airline's new bases at London Gatwick and Doncaster Sheffield.
For example, you can find the cheap fares on routes from Gatwick to Athens, Naples, Malta and Lanzarote, while there are deals for flights from Doncaster Sheffield to Tenerife, Malaga, Lublin and Larnaca.
However, it is worth noting that the Foreign Office currently advises against travel to a number of these destinations. (At the time of writing, Athens, Lanarca and Naples are the only spots from the list still exempt from the advice).
You can book the deals on the Wizz Air website but you'll need to be quick as the sale is only on today (Tuesday 13th September) and the discounts are subject to availability.
The airline is also offering WIZZ Flex as an add-on when you book, which allows you to amend or cancel your flights up to three hours before departure without incurring extra fees. (WIZZ Flex rates range from €5-€15).
No matter what destination you're considering, make sure to check the latest Foreign Office travel advice before you book and travel as this is constantly being reviewed during the coronavirus pandemic.
If the Foreign Office advises against all but essential travel, your travel insurance is invalidated to that destination.
If an airline cancels your flight as a result of a change in advice, you are still entitled to a full cash refund - however, during the pandemic that airlines haven't necessarily always cancelled the flights.
