A witness appeal has been launched by police after a pedestrian collided with a car during evening rush hour in East Kilbride.
The incident happened on Calderwood Road, near to the junction of Angus Avenue, at around 6pm on Friday, January 31.
The female pedestrian collided with the car while crossing the road after alighting from a bus.
She suffered a slight head injury as well as injuries to a knee and elbow and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver was not charged in connection with the incident which is being treated as a road traffic collision.
Officers are appealing for witnesses and are asking for dash cam footage from drivers who were in the area at the time.
A statement released by the Lanarkshire Police Division read: "On 31st January 2020 at around 6pm a pedestrian crossing Calderwood Road near to the junction with Angus Avenue, was involved in a collision with a motor vehicle.
"Police are appealing for any members of the public who witnessed the collision or any drivers with dash cam footage to contact police using reference number 3012 of 31st January 2020."
