Without a Tyreek Hill suspension, Mecole Hardman Jr. will have easier NFL adjustment

Former Georgia Bulldog Mecole Hardman Jr. will be the most exciting Georgia rookie to watch in 2019. Hardman Jr. will play on the most exciting team in football: the electric Kansas City Chiefs. QB Patrick Mahomes can throw the ball as far as anyone and can buy time for longer developing routes. Enter UGA’s Mecole Hardman Jr., who is one of the fastest players in the NFL, and will have the chance to catch deep balls from an elite NFL  QB. Hardman Jr. will be in a position to produce big numbers right away in 2019. Hardman Jr. will be in a great situation in Kansas City, especially now since Tyreek hill won’t be suspended.

Yesterday, it was announced that Tyreek Hill will not be suspended in 2019. Hill’s off the field troubles were detailed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Hill was facing a possibly lengthy suspension, so this is excellent news for Hardman Jr., who will be able to learn from Hill. Hardman Jr. additionally will see more single coverage and won’t be faced with expectations to produce right away.

With less pressure to perform, Hardman Jr. should have a smooth transition to the NFL. Defenses will not know how to defend the Kansas City Chiefs, who have the best weapons in the NFL. Teams will be forced to pick their poison among Sammy Watkins, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Mecole Hardman.
