Wave goodbye to your old bathroom scales, as smart scales just got even smarter with Withings’ newest model. The Body Scan 2 offers 60 different biomarkers, compared to the 40 on the original model.

The brand is calling its latest model a "longevity station," as the Body Scan 2 is designed to warn users of health issues in just 90 seconds.

The smart scale's design has changed slightly — you’ll now need to hold a handle in both hands, which is connected to the scale using a cable. The screen is also in this handle, which saves you squinting or bending to read it as you step out of the shower.

Using eight different electrodes, the scale collects far more than just your weight and body fat percentage. There’s an ICG monitor to measure your heart efficiency, and a Bioimpedance Spectroscopy (BIS) to assess cellular health and metabolic function. Users will also receive hypertension risk notifications if the readings notice anything abnormal.

As well as measuring your weight, Withings looks to promote overall health with its newest scale. Users are warned about high blood pressure and declining heart efficiency, and can find out more about cell aging, or if they are at risk of prediabetes. TheBody Scan 2 also encourages you to track your daily stress levels.

The scale itself has a built-in battery that is said to last 15 months on a single charge.

All this tech comes at a price, however. The Body Scan 2 costs $599 and is expected to hit the market in the second half of 2026, pending FDA clearance for its hypertension risk and atrial fibrillation detection features.

This isn’t the only longevity device we’ve seen this week at CES — NuraLogix also revealed its Longevity Mirror, which uses a 30-second selfie to predict your future health.
