RAIPUR: The state’s positivity rate dipped to 0.3% after 130 positive cases and no covid or related death was reported in Chhattisgarh on Thursday. A total of 1.1 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered in Chhattisgarh so far.
As per health officials, the state’s positivity rate dipped to 0.3 percent from 0.5% on Thursday. Active cases are also decreasing rapidly due to the recovery of corona patients and lesser new cases. The number of active patients in the state are 2086.
As per medical bulletin, between July 23 and July 29, the state’s average rate of corona infection stood at 0.4 percent last week.
A total of 13 deaths have been reported across the state last week. These include nine patients with co-morbidities. Last week, out of total investigated samples of 2.4 lakh across the state as many as 1018 people tested positive.
In vaccination coverage in Raipur district, against the targeted population of 17.5 lakh in the district as many 14.5 lakh doses have been administered in Raipur district. Out of these around 11.4 lakh people have received first dose accounting for 65.2 % and 3 lakh people have received second dose accounting for 17.38 % citizens.
Vaccination is being done daily in about 230 centers across the Raipur district.
Among the four development blocks of Raipur district, 1,30, 615 vaccines have been administered in Abhanpur block, 1, 41, 595 vaccines are given in Arang block, 1, 09 , 876 vaccines in given in Dharsiwan block, 1, 43, 067 vaccines in Tilda block.
