Wishbone restaurant to donate entire day's takings to Inner City Helping Homeless

A Dublin restaurant is set to give its entire day's takings to a homeless charity.

Wishbone, located on Montague Street, will be donating all proceeds of their takings today, December 2 to Inner City Helping Homeless.

It's the third time that the restaurant has generously given the donation to the charity which helps homeless people across the capital.

One of the ICHH mobile outreach units will be outside the restaurant on Montague Street from lunchtime.

Wishbone are also inviting people to come along with Christmas shoeboxes and new toys so the charity can distribute them over the Christmas period.

An ICHH spokesman said last night: "We are once again blown away by Wishbone’s generosity in supporting ICHH and allowing us to help more people than ever before over the Christmas period.

"We hope that everyone pops along to Wishbone for something to eat tomorrow to support their fundraising efforts on our behalf.

"This is an amazingly kind festive gesture by Wishbone and we are so thankful to them for believing in the work being done 7 days a week by our dedicated volunteers and they have our sincere appreciation."
