Wishaw YMCA’s festive fun day was declared a huge success by event organisers.
The festivities at Wishaw Sports Centre saw Santa appearing alongside a whole host of cartoon characters including the cast of Paw Patrol as well as The Grinch.
Entertainment was also provided by Soundsational Community Choir.
In a statement on its Facebook page, the YMCA stated: “What a wonderful day! What a wonderful community.
“There are so many individuals and organisations to thank. For tonight we will say thank you to everyone who contributed to our amazing day.
“We have been totally overwhelmed by the support.
“Thank you to everyone who helped make this community event possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!”
The YM committee would like to thank Arnold Clark, Paterson Trophy Supplies Ltd, SoundSational Community Music, Socialtrack, Bellshill & Mossend YMCA, Tesco Wishaw Belhaven Extra community team, St. Andrew’s Ambulance, Wishaw Sports Centre staff, NLC, Generation Events ltd, Brauhaus Brass, Taylor Street Food, Charity Starts at Home, the runners, the volunteers, and all those who donated toys.
