Wishaw’s very own 'Little Biker Dog' has began his latest adventure.
Cookie the Jack Russell has already had so many adventures with owner Dave Hall and this time around the dynamic duo will be travelling from Land’s End to John O’Groats on Dave’s motorbike.
The journey should take around two weeks to complete but it’s all part of the fun for the pair.
Dave said: “It has been going well.
“Cookie likes travelling down rural routes where she can various sights and sounds.
“We have two weeks blocked off so we can take our time on the journey.
“You can tell when she is getting tired as she tends to get a bit restless for most of the time she is content looking at what’s going on around her and getting a wave from people going by.
“Last year due to COVID we only managed one trip down to the Lake District so she’s enjoying this one.”
To keep her safe, Cookie wears £60 Rex Spex goggles to keep the dust out of her eyes.
The motorbike-riding pooch’s fame has now spread across Scotland thanks to his own Facebook page and several trips that saw her snapped at various locations around the country.
Dave added: “I try and keep on top of the Facebook page if the signal on my phone is good.
“We are also asking people, if they wish, to make a donation to the Blood Bikes Scotland charity.
“They provide a free of charge transport service to the Scottish NHS run by volunteers in their own time.”
Dave’s partner, Deborah O’Neill, who runs the Mizz Pawz dog walking company in Wishaw, added: “I really miss them while they are away but they always have such a great time.
“They were planning to go to Europe this year but that was cancelled due to COVID so they decided on the UK trip.”
