Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s store in Wishaw is appealing to the local community to have a clear out for Christmas and to donate their pre-loved items to the shop.
The shop at 59 Main Street, is in urgent need of stock to replenish the shelves as we come towards winter and Christmas.
The charity relies on generous donations of stock to help fund essential services in the local area.
Carole Edmonds, head of retail, told Lanarkshire Live : “We were overwhelmed with the kindness of the local community when we re-opened the shop after the pandemic.
"And we are hoping that amazing community spirit is still there, and that people think of donating to us when they are having a clear out before Christmas.
“Your donations mean more to us than just a donation, it means that someone returning home from hospital with a chest, heart or stroke condition this winter can get the help and support that they need when they need it most.”
The shop can also help you get ready for the festive season with a range of world famous Scottish themed Christmas cards, as well as some beautifully designed diaries for 2022 in various sizes.
With designs ranging from classic thistles to charming Westies and Highland coos, they make the perfect gift for friends and family.
Carole added: “Christmas can be a lonely time for some, and we want to be there for people living with our conditions in your community so anything you can donate, or any purchase you make, can help people to do more than survive.”
If you have any donations, please drop them off at the shop or call ahead on 01698 767 699.
