Wishaw primary school class put together cute video for their teacher

A class at Netherton Primary School have made a special video for their teacher.

The Primary 2 class have all come together during lockdown and created the video for Mrs Grant, their class teacher.

In the video, the children tell Mrs Grant how much they miss seeing her in school and thank her for helping them online.

The pupils are still learning, but online rather than in the classroom.

Gayna Doyle, one of the mums who helped put the video together, said: "They get work sent every morning to complete and they can send photos of their work to Mrs Grant.

"She is online between nine and three every day supporting the kids and giving them feedback and praise about their work.

"She always treats the children as individuals and always goes that bit extra to help and support them all.

"It was me and one of the other mums who had the idea to put the video together. We contacted all the parents and asked them to draw a picture and send us a photo. We had them all back within three days."
