Wishaw Police appeal after goods destined for charity shop stolen in Craigneuk

Police are appealing for information a bag of goods, destined for a charity shop, were stolen in Craigneuk.

On the afternoon of December 20, a vehicle was broken into by smashing the back window on John Street.

The goods, estimated to be worth approximately £600, were then stolen.

Officers are asking members of the public who may have been in the area at that time to come forward.

Police are hunting crooks who broke into a shed in Wishaw and nicked a series of tools.

The tools, including a chainsaw, Stihl saw and other items, valued at over £1500, were nicked from a property in Castlehill Road.

Anyone with information regarding these offences are asked to contact police on 101. Alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where calls are free and anonymity is maintained.
