A Wishaw mum has thanked her daughter for “always being there” for everybody.
Sandra Felvus nominated daughter Mechelle for our Say It With Flowers competition.
Sandra praised Mechelle for all the hard work she does for her family and her kind-natured personality.
Mechelle cares for her gran, Margaret, and her aunt most days and does all the daily tasks that they perhaps might struggle to do.
Sandra said: “Mechelle goes for her messages, her tablets anything else her gran needs.
“She is a carer for her gran so she does so much for her like painting and decorating and generally just being there for her.
“She also does a lot of things for her aunt Pauline, who has learning difficulties.
“Pauline is 60 and Mechelle will take her to various appointments and get her prescriptions.
“And every Friday Mechelle and Pauline will go to Tesco so that Pauline can get some time out of the house.
“She is also there whenever I need her too and I know she is just a phone call away.
“She has always been a very kind-hearted and family-orientated person and will never say no to anyone.
“And she does all this while looking after her three-year-old son, Leo, and 13-year-old daughter, Demi.”
When Sandra got in touch with us and wanted to thank Mechelle, we were only happy to help out.
The Wishaw Press delivered this stunning bouquet to Mechelle and Leo in Wishaw, where Sandra was there to surprise her.
