A Wishaw man has been banned from the road after being caught drink-driving in Motherwell.
Peter Cine, of Winning Quadrant, was found to be double the legal drink-drive limit when he was stopped in Mentieth Road on August 4.
The 44-year-old was also found to have been driving without a licence.
Cine admitted both charges when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
Sheriff Vincent Smith fined Cine £600 - reduced from £900 on account of his guilty plea.
He was also banned from getting behind the wheel for the next year.
