Wishaw man given electronic tag after threatening behaviour at woman's home

A Wishaw man has been electronically tagged after admitting behaving in a threatening manner at a property in Motherwell.

Antoni Watson pleaded guilty to turning up at the house in Leslie Street uninvited on April 3.

While he was there, Watson, of Lewis Avenue, Cambusnethan, repeatedly shouted, swore and made offensive remarks towards the woman.

Watson, 34, had been accused of breaching a non-harrassment order.

However, his not guilty plea to his charge was accepted by prosecutors.

Sheriff Linda Nicolson put Watson a community payback order with a supervision requirement for six months.

He was also tagged for the next four months.
