A Wishaw man has denied hitting a woman with an ashtray on Christmas Eve.
Daniel Nolan pleaded not guilty to the assault charge agaist him when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
It is alleged that within a property in Cambusnethan Street Nolan threw the ash tray which struck the woman’s head and struggled with her.
Nolan, of Coldstream Crescent, Coltness, was granted bail with special conditions that he doesn’t contact his alleged victim or enter Cambusnethan Street.
