Wishaw drivers have been warned over slip road and lane closures on the M74 Motherwell slip road later this week.
The M74 southbound between Junction 5 Raith and Junction 6 Hamilton/Motherwell will be reduced to a single lane from 8pm to 6am to allow carriageway patching repairs to take place on Thursday, February 20, and Friday, Februaru 21, from 8pm to 6am.
The M74 southbound on-slip road at Junction 5 Raith will also be closed from 8pm to 6am on these dates.
A Transport Scotland spokesperson said: “A diversion will be in place via M74 northbound Junction 5 Raith on-slip, M73 northbound link road to Junction 2 Baillieston off-slip to Baillieston roundabout, M73 southbound to the M74 southbound link road and continue M74 southbound.
“Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys during this time whilst our contractor undertakes these vital carriageway patching repairs.”
