A serial road traffic offender has been jailed for 10 months for driving dangerously while he was supposed to be serving a ban.
Paul Hands, 42, of Heathfield, Gowkthrapple, was also disqualified from driving for 10 years at Hamilton Sheriff Court this week.
Hands admitted driving while disqualified on various roads in Wishaw on August 23.
He also admitted doing speeds of up to 60 miles an hour in a built-up area and swerving on to the wrong side of the road.
The court heard Hands has a long list of previous convictions for traffic offences.
He was jailed for six months and disqualified for five years last October. Sheriff Ray Small ordered him to resit his test if he wants to drive again.
