A Wishaw car salesman made an appearance on Love Island last night after being recruited for the show through Tinder.
Harry Young entered Casa Amor on the show last night after being announced as a contestant on Saturday.
Harry's friends and family reacted hilariously to the news, with most having no idea he was even going to be on the hit dating show.
Relative Sophie Young Tweeted: "Cannot get over the fact oor Harry’s gon on Love Island, knew there was a bloody reason being him no being able to sell me ma motor. Do the Youngs proud."
To which his cousin Lauren Young replied: "We were in ma auntie Karen's Sophie n' we thought he was in his room watching the telly."
Harry's football team Wishaw United Tweeted: "Too funny - our striker Harry is on Love Island."
And his former team, Law AFC, wrote: "If new Love Island entrant Harry Young doesn't mention this goal of the season screamer for us whilst in the Villa, we won't be happy.
"Wishing you all the best for it big man."
Harry is the first contestant to be chosen through Tinder and has said he hopes to mend his broken heart and isn’t afraid to “stand on a few toes” to find it.
He joined the show last night with fellow Scot, Dale Mehmet, with some viewers quickly taking to Twitter to ask for subtitles as they couldn't understand the pair's accents.
One said: "I don’t have a clue what any of these Scottish men are saying. Can we have the Scottish equivalent of @AmberRoseGill translations please?"
With another saying: "Every time the Scottish boy speaks I think it’s Iain #LoveIsland."
"Yeah I’m gonna need subtitles on that tattooed Scottish guy."
