The owners of a Wishaw barbers and tattoo shop handed over a cheque for £250 to the The Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation.
Ashleigh Hamilton-Thompson and her partner Paul run Studio 1 in the town.
Ashleigh’s mum, Evelyn McLare, spotted a child’s vintage rocking horse at auction and lovingly restored it to its former glory.
They encouraged parents to bring their children in throughout December and for a minimum £1 donation they could sit on the horse and have their photo taken.
Everyone who donated received a raffle ticket for a draw just before Christmas, with a host of excellent prizes on offer.
Charity founder Les is pictured receiving the cheque at Studio 1.
He said: “I want to say a massive thanks to Paul and Ashleigh for their continued support of our wee charity.
“We really appreciate the help from the local community and all they do.”
