X Factor star Nicky McDonald has married his girlfriend in a ceremony near Hamilton.
The Wishaw-born singer tied the knot with with Florida-born Brandi, also 22, at Chatelherault Country Park on Wednesday.
The 22-year-old first met his new wife in January 2017 when Brandi was a passenger on a cruise ship where Nicky was one of the performers, as reported by the Daily Record .
Nicky shot to fame in 2013 when he finished as the runner-up of the X Factor's 10th season.
A number of famous faces were seen at the wedding, including Ex-Celtic star Kris Commons and the Series 10 winner, Sam Bailey, who has remained good friends with Nicky.
It was a quick turnaround for the wedding, with the couple only announcing their engagement on August 31 after Nicky popped the question at Trump Turnberry Resort in Ayrshire and shared the news on social media.
Brandi opened up about obstacles the young couple have endured leading up to the wedding and making Scotland their home.
Earlier this year, she posted on Facebook: “I have experienced more of life in this year than I have the past 22 years of my life and it’s all thanks to you, Nicky.
“Our parents also play a HUGE role in this, allowing us to stay in each other’s houses and plan trips for us and help us make more memories together.
“Thank you everyone who is on this crazy ride with us and believing in us.
“Many more memories to be made.”
