Wishaw band set to headline stage at this year's TRNSMT festival

Wishaw pop band Saint PHNX will be headlining a stage at TRNSMT festival this year.

Brothers Stevie and Al Jukes were announced as the Sunday headliners of the brand new ‘River’ stage at Scotland’s biggest music festival.

The band are fresh off releasing their debut record, DDMN, and are currently on a near sold out world tour.

Stevie told the Wishaw Press: “We are buzzing to be added to the bill of our hometown festival. We have wanted to play TRNSMT ever since we started this band.

“We are currently on our sold out tour in Europe so it is great to be finishing off the first half of the year playing TRNSMT.”

Also appearing on the Sunday of the festival is headliner Lewis Capaldi, who the lads recently toured America with.

This will be the fourth ever TRNSMT, after it took the reigns as the biggest festival in Scotland following the cancellation of T In The Park in 2016.
