Wise move for Solihull technology firm

A fast-growing technology firm has relocated to a new office in Solihull following a string of hires which has trebled the size of its payroll.

Wise, which specialises in services for the self-employment sector, has moved to a new base in Radcliffe House in the town centre from the BizSpace complex in Highlands Road after growing from just 15 staff to 47 over the past year.

Among the roles it has recruited for are software developers after partnering with the Birmingham-based School of Code which runs free coding courses for people wishing to start a new career.

Wise chief executive Simon Hills said: "We're delighted to have finally moved into our brand new office in the heart of Solihull which will act as a central tech hub for Wise as we continue to revolutionise self-employment through innovation.

"Though the last 18 months have been difficult as we adapted to working from home and not seeing each other, this new space provides the perfect home for us as a business moving forward so that we can collaborate and continue to bring in the very best technology talent from across the Midlands."
