An office block in Wirral has been damaged after a fire broke out.
Emergency services were called to St Albans Road in Liscard, Wirral at 6:21pm on Monday, September 27.
Once four fire engines and a combined platform ladder arrived at the scene next to the Cherry Tree Shopping Centre at 6:24pm crews got to work.

The started on the ground floor of a five storey brick building, used as offices, which is approximately 50x20m in size.
The fire was extinguished using a hose reel jet, however, smoke was still issuing from the top floor.

Firefighters then searched all other floors with six breathing apparatus in use and two hose reel jets in place.
After finding no signs of secondary fires three of Merseyside Fire and Rescue's engines left the scene.
A spokesperson from Merseyside Fire and Rescue said: "Crews were alerted at 18.21 on Monday 27 th September and on scene at 18.24pm.
"Breathing apparatus has now ceased and search is being completed with no sign of secondary fires.

"Firefighters in respirators are now completing search audit."
