Wirral Magistrates' Court forced to close due to 'building issue'

Wirral Magistrates' Court has been forced to close due to a "building issue".

The court on Chester Street in Bikenhead has been temporarily closed today, Thursday, April 21. A spokesperson for HM Courts and Tribunal Service said on Twitter this was due to a "building issue", however it is unclear what this entails.

The court said it was contacting all affected parties and "urgent work" was being relocated to alternative court sites. People who need to get in touch with the Magistrates' Court are asked to call 0151 473 7373.
