Wireless Festival returns to London this month, with the first weekend kicking off in Crystal Palace.

Headliners include A$AP Rocky, Chris Brown, J.Cole, Playboi Carti, Tyler, the Creator, and Roddy Rich, while Bakar, Little Simz, and Ms Banks are also set to perform.

The three-day event will take place in Crystal Palace Park, in South London, ahead of the second weekend in Finsbury Park, North London, on July 8-10.

Music fans heading to Wireless Festival this weekend should be aware of the weather forecast ahead of time, to make sure they’re comfortable all day–and can focus on seeing their favourite artists rather than dodging the rain.

So, find out below what the weather is expected to be like for Wireless Festival this weekend.

Wireless Festival at Crystal Palace weather forecast

According to the Met Office, the weather in London over the weekend will be a mix of clouds with sunny intervals and a chance of light showers. Temperatures are expected to be near normal for this time of year.

Find out the weather forecast for each day of the festival below:

  • Friday, July 1, is expected to be sunny in the morning, but cloudy in the afternoon, with highs of 21.
  • Saturday, July 2, will have a mix of sunny intervals and clouds, with highs of 21.
  • Sunday, July 3, will have sunny intervals and light showers around lunchtime, with highs of 22.

Heavy showers are expected on Thursday, June 30, so the park may be muddy on Friday.

What to wear to Wireless festival

Wireless festival recommends bringing clothes “for any weather eventuality,” so it would be a good idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, rainwear, and warm clothing.

As showers are expected, a light raincoat and waterproof shoes might come in handy. Large umbrellas are not permitted, but small, folding umbrellas are okay.

Large bags are not allowed in the festival, but small bags, up to the dimensions W21cm x H30cm x D8cm (A4 Size), are okay.
