One of Bristol's most renowned breweries is on the verge of expanding once again.
Wiper and True opened its first brewery on York Street, St Werburgh's in 2004 before launching a sister site on nearby Merstham Road in July last year.
Taking on the new site, known as the Barrel Store, gave the team a dedicated space to explore more specialised methods of brewing beer, including barrel ageing, enabling it to extend its range.
And now, less than one year after rustling up the first beers from its second warehouse, the business is now eyeing up a third site in the city.
Wiper & True has submitted a licence application to Bristol City Council for a massive new brewery and taproom in Easton.
The brewery’s new home will be within a 28,000 sq ft warehouse at City Business Park on Easton Road.
A Wiper and True spokesperson said: "The main part of the business is moving to a small industrial estate in Old Market, tucked just behind the Trinity Centre.
"It's a 28,000 sqft warehouse with plenty of space for a huge, modern tap and a brand new brewery.
"There's lots of room for our business to grow - just what we've been dreaming of. We get the keys in the winter time and hope to open up to the public in Spring 2022."
The spokesperson added that the brewery will be "keeping hold of our current St Werburghs site" where there are "exciting plans afoot."
