Winter Wonderland garden centre with food village people from Liverpool are loving

A garden centre a short drive from Liverpool is wowing visitors with its winter wonderland displays.

Ahead of Christmas, Bents in Warrington has an indoor winter food market, real reindeer , fairground rides for children and magical festive displays.

The garden centre is a 50 minute drive from Liverpool city centre, just off the East Lancs Road near Leigh, and is loved by shoppers including celebrities.

Just last week Andrew Whyment, who plays Kirk in Coronation Street was spotted there.

Its Winter Food Market is selling the hugely popular Yorkshire pudding wraps plus bratwurst sausages, pulled pork sandwiches and vegan wraps. Visitors can even enjoy a festive tipple including a hot apple toddy, mulled wine and hot chocolate. The market is open from midday with live music from Wednesday to Friday.

Bents is also a popular place for people to take their children and this year. On December 7 and 9 the garden centre’s Open Skies Glass House will be transformed into a festive forest, with freshly cut trees leading to a children’s entertainment area with fairground rides, real reindeer, facepainting and a treasure hunt.

At this time of year visitors can wander through the magical Christmas displays, with every theme imaginable on show.
