Winter Love Island has only been on our screens for a few weeks and Argos has already reported huge sales spikes in key products inspired by the show as a result.
The high street giant has revealed that there's been a huge 63 per cent uplift in sales of grooming and beauty products like epilators and beard trimmers online at argos.co.uk and in stores across the UK as young shoppers try to emulate the well-groomed and glammed up contestants.
In a recent poll, over half of Brits aged 18 -34 admitted to buying items spotted on the hit ITV show, with young shoppers forking out £100.38 on average of as a result.
An Argos spokesperson said: “According to young Brits, 68 per cent of people have started taking more care over their appearance following Love Island’s explosion in popularity.
“Sales of hair and beauty products have increased this past week as shoppers try to emulate the Love Island lifestyle year-round.
“Argos now sells thousands of beauty products and male grooming tools to make sure fans of the show can get all their Love Island needs in one place.”

Shoppers can check out Argos' full range of grooming and beauty items online as well as shop for make up and beauty essentials online too.
Last year Argos reporting spikes in sales of beard trimmers which increased by 91 per cent and heated rollers by 86 per cent.
There was also an increase in sales of juicers as shoppers were inspired to get in shape and achieve the perfect Love Island body.
But it's not just beauty and grooming that has seen the Love Island effect influence buying habits. Over the last few years fans of the reality shows have also rushed out to buy dupes of the show's stylish villa interiors, with bean bags, pool toys, hot tubs and wheelie suitcases among the most popular items.
