Winning Streak €500K jackpot won for first time since 2011 by Roscommon woman

The Winning Streak jackpot of €500,000 has been won for the first time since 2011.

Roscommon woman Michelle Morgan, 27, scooped the major prize while playing on behalf of her mother.

Michelle won €22,000 earlier in the RTE game show before the spinning the wheel.

And the Fairymount native couldn't believe her eyes when the ball landed on €500,000 after stepping up to spin the the wheel.

The overjoyed young woman was congratulated by Sinead Kennedy and Marty Whelan after her astonishing win.

Michelle was playing on behalf of her mother Mairead Cox.

Mairead bought the ticket in Supervalu, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon.
