Akira Yoshino, 71, a winner of this year's Nobel Prize in Chemistry, poses for a photo with students at a school in Stockholm that he visited to give a lecture on Monday. Yoshino, an honorary fellow of Asahi Kasei Corp., won the prize with two other researchers for the development of lithium-ion batteries. He was to attend the awards ceremony at a concert hall in Stockholm on Tuesday.
