Winning Euromillions ticket bought in Bristol is still unclaimed

Someone won a small fortune on the Euromillions lottery in Bristol in the summer - but hasn’t claimed their prize.

The mystery lottery winner bought their winning ticket in Bristol for the Euromillions draw that took place on August 9 last year, and managed to match all five main numbers, but neither of the two Lucky Star numbers.

That meant the winning ticket is worth £78,453.90, but that money will be handed over to the unless the winning ticket holder comes forward.

They have until February 5 - just a month and two days - to come forward and claim it.

While £78,000 isn’t or three, it’ll still pay off a hefty chunk of a mortgage, be a deposit on a house or pay for a round-the-world holiday.

There’s no excuse for missing the Euromillions numbers that night - Bristol Live brought the numbers live on this blog on the night.

That day was the Friday of the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, when windy conditions meant the day’s mass ascents were cancelled, although the night glow went ahead.

The winning numbers on that date were 2, 14, 35, 41, 42 and the Lucky Star numbers were 10 and 11.

“Time really is running out for the winner of this prize, but we are still hopeful that someone will come forward at the very last minute to claim the money,” said Andy Carter, the senior winners’ advisor at the National Lottery.

“We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding. This life-enhancing prize could really help to make dreams become a reality for someone out there and what a way to start 2020 it would be,” he added.

Anyone who has any queries or who believes they have the winning ticket for any of the National Lottery draws within the 180-day deadline should call the National Lottery Line on 0333 234 5050 or email help@national-lottery.co.uk
