'Winning by three goals!' - Chelsea fans love what Frank Lampard has done against Newcastle

Frank Lampard's team selection for this afternoon's Premier League fixture against Newcastle United has prompted a huge reaction from a number of Chelsea fans.

As expected there is no room for Antonio Rudiger as he is still sidelined with a groin problem sustained in the win over Wolves last month, while Ruben Loftus-Cheek is making good progress but a return date hasn't yet been set.

Furthermore, N'Golo Kante and Andreas Christensen are also out after picking up injuries during the international break.

Mateo Kovacic was the other player to hand the Blues head coach an injury scare, but he's fit enough for a place on the bench.

Lampard has opted for a 4-2-3-1 formation this afternoon, keeping faith in Marcos Alonso at left-back rather than recalling the fit again Emerson Palmieri.

Kurt Zouma continues his partnership with Fikayo Tomori.

Tammy Abraham will lead the line again and is supported in attack by Willian, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Mason Mount.

In total Lampard has made just the one change to the side which started against Southampton last time out as Ross Barkley - fresh off netting twice for England in midweek - starts in Kante's place.

Chelsea line-up:  Kepa; Azpilicueta, Zouma, Tomori, Alonso; Jorginho, Barkley; Willian, Mount, Hudson-Odoi; Abraham

Most of the reaction from Chelsea supporters on social media has centred around the inclusions of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Barkley.
