A lucky punter in the hometown of Love Island star Maura Higgins is €1million richer today.
The jackpot winning ticket in yesterday's Daily Million draw was sold in the Co Longford town, which has a population of just 2,000 people.
The golden Quick Pick ticket was bought at Smyth's SuperValu on the Main Street.
It is the second huge jackpot at the store, which saw a customer win €2.9million in the Lotto draw in 2015.

Owner Pat Smyth said: “This is just terrific. For such a small town to have achieved two significant lottery wins in such a short period is just fantastic, we are absolutely thrilled for one of our lucky customers.
"Word of the win is spreading like wildfire this morning and I know the entire town will be over the moon with this persons win.
"It’s all anybody can talk about in the store this morning and the overriding sentiment is that they are hoping that it is a local customer who has the winning ticket.

"€1 million is a huge amount of money but this will be absolutely life-changing for one lucky person in a small town like Ballymahon."
Lotto bosses also revealed that two players in Limerick and Wateford each won €111,972 in Wednesday’s Lotto draw.
Both lucky punters were just one number short of claiming the €2.3million jackpot after matching five numbers and the bonus.
