Taylor on fitness
Nottingham Forest striker Lyle Taylor has hit back at former manager Sabri Lamouchi after the former Forest manager made claims over the striker's match fitness.
Taylor has started just one game since completing his move to the City Ground in the summer.
The striker is still building up his fitness after a five-month absence from the pitch but has asked a question of the former Forest boss.
He (Lamouchi) made a comment about me not being fit enough, which, fine, I’m not fit enough, but if I’m not playing games, I’m not allowed to play in the U23s, what can I do?” He said.
“I’m doing extra running, I’m doing everything over and above what I’ve been set to do and, I’ll be honest with you, I’ve been working on all sorts of stuff off the pitch to be stronger and fitter and better and it just didn’t work.”
Knockaert absence explained
Forest boss Chris Hughton has explained the absence of new signing Anthony Knockaert from the matchday squad against Rotherham United.
The winger was expected to be named at least on the bench for the game against the Millers, but will now have to wait until the East Midlands Derby to make his first appearance in a Forest shirt.

Encouraging prediction
Former Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren has predicted that the Reds will have a successful season under the stewardship of Chris Hughton.
He has pointed out the strength in depth of the squad at the City Ground and the first encouraging signs under the new boss, with the Reds having picked up four points from their first two games under the manager.
“There are certainly plenty of goals in that dressing room. You’ve got Joe Lolley, Luke Freeman, Sammy Ameobi, Lewis Grabban and they’ll always be a threat going forward. We saw that last night [against Rotherham] with the goal they scored.
“Hughton’s got to find his best team but he’s certainly got a squad of players to have a very good season there,” he said.
