A 1920s-themed ‘wine escape’ room is coming to Manchester later this year. Called ‘Wine Escape’, the immersive dining experience takes place at the evocative Manchester Hall on Bridge Street.
Guests will be asked to observe the roaring 20s theme and dress accordingly, and will be thrown into mystery and intrigue in the historic building, formerly the Freemason's Hall. The evening will revolve around Hawker Wine Estate and its wealthy owners, the Von James family.
Initially a celebratory event, things ‘turn sour when a storm of vengeance, lies and deceit ruins the evening. You must stick together, hold your nerve and beat the clock in order to escape Hawker alive’.

In with the ticket for the event will be a two course dinner, the live immersive show performed by actors, ‘beat the clock’ games and then dancing. The shows will be taking place up and down the country until December.
The two dates in Manchester will take place on October 14 and 15. Tickets cost £64.95 per person, with a discount available for NHS, blue light staff and students. Group tickets are also available for a table of 12 people.
That costs £649.50 plus a booking fee. For more information, head to the Wine Escape website.
