Parts of Glasgow may have felt the strong winds last night with areas in the south side hearing the howls from outside.
It came as the Met Office put out a yellow weather warning for the Strathclyde area stating that South Ayrshire would be affected by "a period of strong winds bringing the potential for some disruption on Tuesday and Wednesday." However it seems that this has been lifted.
Whilst there is no weather warning in place for Glasgow, at the time of writing, the winds are picking up with them carrying on this afternoon.

So what does the weather forecast for this week look like? If you live or are visiting Glasgow, here's what you need to know.
Glasgow weekly weather forecast - April 10 - April 14
April 10 - Monday
According to the BBC, today is set to be a sunny day with a moderate breeze.
The sun will last until 8pm tonight with highs of 11C and lows of 3C expected. The highs of 11C will begin at 1pm and last until 7pm where it will drop to 9C.
April 11 - Tuesday
The following day is set to be mainly rainy with more wind on the way. Highs of 12C and lows of 3C are expected - much the same as Monday although the sun will not be out as much sadly.
April 12 - Wednesday
During the middle of the week, light rain and a moderate breeze is expected again with highs of 8C and lows of 3C. The rain will carry on throughout much of the day with it settling around 10pm.
April 13 - Thursday
On Thursday, highs of 11C and lows of 0C is expected making for a cold day. There will be a mix of rain and sunny intervals - some happening simultaneously - with much of the rain set to happen between the hours of 2pm until 5pm.
April 14 - Friday
On the last day of the working week, it thankfully picks up with highs of 12C and lows of 1C.
Light rain showers, sunny intervals and a gentle breeze is expected on this day with the majority of the week, much like Friday, set to see a mixed but overall warm week ahead as we make our way through the spring.
