Guardian Masterclasses are delighted to have partnered with Land Rover to bring this unique learning experience to two locations in February 2015. Twenty lucky people will learn from Alastair Humphreys’ phenomenal adventures and insights, all London tickets have now been claimed, but we have added additional capacity to Edinburgh - email Louisa for tickets.
Drawing upon experiences and stories from his adventuring career and new Microadventures book, Alastair will offer advice on how to plan invigorating outdoor expeditions, what kit you’ll need, and how to turn simple trips into something really special for the whole family. To go on an adventure, you don’t need to spend months planning – or your life savings. Adventures are all around us, and during this inspirational course Alastair reveals just how easy it is to break with routine and get out there.
This masterclass is an exciting addition to Land Rover’s #Hibernot campaign – a movement and online engagement platform which focuses on changing the perceived negatives of winter and turning them into positives. The campaign encourages people to get outdoors and enjoy the season by going on fun, easy-to-organise expeditions and sharing their experiences online. Find out more about #Hibernot and how to get involved on Land Rover’s website.
