Win prize tickets for Take That's special musical gala night supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation

Evening Standard readers could win a black-tie red carpet experience with Take That in support of the Elton John AIDS Foundation for as little as £10.

They are putting on a special one-off performance at the West End opening night gala of their musical The Band.

The show, which tells the story of five best friends who get back together after 25 years to see their musical heroes perform, is co-written by Tim Firth, who created the Calendar Girls musical with Gary Barlow.

It features some of Take That’s greatest hits such as Back For Good, Shine and Never Forget.

Barlow will be joined on the night by fellow founding members Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams, as well as Sir Elton’s partner David Furnish and Master of Ceremonies Graham Norton.

The first prize includes two seats at the gala dinner and auction as well as a meet-and-greet with the band, with other prizes including tickets to the dress circle and the gallery at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Glenn Horder, from the Elton John AIDS Foundation, said the charity was “thrilled” to be teaming up with the band.

He added: “It will be a red carpet event like no other, and it is wonderful that the entertainment from the evening will be helping to create an Aids-free future.”

This prize draw closes on Monday, December 3 at 2pm.
