No matter the final score, there will be no losers among Browns and Cincinnati Bengals fans at FirstEnergy Stadium when the Ohio state rivals meet Oct. 1.
Fans arriving at the Cleveland stadium will receive a boarding pass for a free visit to Cedar Point anytime during the 2018 season.
The Browns and the amusement park are partnering to create some buzz for the game and Cedar Point's new Steel Vengeance roller coaster that is set to open next summer.
The boarding pass will have a unique code that must be redeemed online at cedarpoint.com/Browns before 11:59 p.m. Oct. 4.
"Cedar Point is iconic for our state and throughout the globe so we are thrilled that The Roller Coaster Capital of the World will be part of this year's Battle of Ohio at FirstEnergy Stadium," Browns vice president of corporate partnerships Randy Domain said in a prepared statement.
"We are always focused on creating exceptional opportunities for our fans, and we look forward to providing them an exciting experience at our next home game, as well as when they visit Cedar Park next season."
Like the Browns, the new coaster is a rebuilding effort rising from the existing timbers of the old Mean Streak coaster.
It is billed as a "hyper-hybrid" that puts a steel track on top of a traditional wood coaster. The combination allows the feel of a traditional wood coaster with the terrifying features, including inversions, of a steel coaster.
When it opens, the Steel Vengeance is expected to set 10 world records, including being the tallest hybrid roller coaster at 205 feet, the fastest at 74 mph and most airtime at 27.2 seconds.
